I had the absolute pleasure of attending an exclusive wedding planners’ event at the newly unveiled luxury wedding venue in North Wales. From the moment I arrived, it was clear Palé Hall is more than a venue, it a 5* experience in every sense of the word.
From the sweeping driveway to the grand entrance, the arrival alone was filled with wow-factor moments. Greeted by valet parking and the warmest welcome from the owners themselves, it was clear this was a venue that values exceptional hospitality.
Inside, the attention to detail was impeccable. Welcome champagne and Michelin star-quality canapés awaited us as we mingled by cosy fireplaces and soaked in the elegant surroundings. The atmosphere was luxurious, but not pretentious, with a home-away-from-home vibe that made you instantly relaxed.
After being welcomed by the management team, we had an insightful talk from the owners and renowned Michelin-starred chef Luke Selby. Their passion for elevating each guests’ experience was clear, and their commitment to excellence evident in every touchpoint.
After the welcome, we were treated to a stunning three-course dining experience crafted by Luke himself. Each course was introduced personally, set against the backdrop of candlelight, beautiful tablescapes, and an intimate ambience. Just being a part of this dining experience showed me how and why this venue is perfect for intimate weddings and events.
The dining room was transformed for a 3 course dining experience by an incredible team of wedding suppliers. The dramatic pink and red floral arrangements by Dreamboats and Carousels flowed beautifully with the patterned linens by Maison Margaux and the bespoke stationery from TPEL Paper & Press. From the cohesive design to the immersive ambience created by Dylan the harpist, every last detail was the epitome of refined elegance.
The wonderfully talented Attabara planned this event to perfection, and it was beautifully captured by Stories From Eros, whose work encapsulated the vibrancy and warmth of this intimate event.
That evening, we had the pleasure of sampling Palé Hall’s exclusive new Valentine’s Day cocktails in the bar, prepared by their in-house mixologist. Every experience highlighted the level of care and attention that Palé Hall is known for.
The next morning, we enjoyed a full English breakfast, with continental options available, before a guided tour of the grounds. The property itself is full of unexpected amenities that make it the ideal location for an exclusive, North Wales celebration. Their onsite art gallery featuring Welsh artists and pottery classes give the option for pre or post event activities for your guests while the wine cellar is the go-to location for afterparties or to use as a cigar lounge.
Their group accommodation, complete with hot tubs, a gym, spa and treatment rooms is designed specifically for bridal parties and pre-wedding prep while the shooting range and private lodge is ideal for the groomsmen. Every feature is designed to elevate the guest experience and make their stay here one to remember.
We concluded our tour of the grounds by visiting a local Pub where the menu is focused on locally produced ingredients and prioritises a friendly and warm welcome. This Snowdonia hidden gem also gives a five-star service and is another local accommodation option for guests who want to stay nearby.
After staying at Palé Hall I can confidently say that it’s not just a venue – it’s a luxury destination. It redefines what it means to host a wedding with warmth, finesse, and quiet elegance. From the Penhaligon’s toiletries and homemade cake on arrival to the comfiest beds, roll-top baths, and radios softly playing in the background – this is a space that makes you feel at home in the most luxurious way possible.

This hidden gem is a Victorian Country House like no other – situated within easy driving distance from major cities – you can get to Conwy in 45 minutes, Chester in one hour and Shrewsbury in 75 minutes. Your guests will feel like they’ve travelled to a quiet and remote destination for your celebrations.
I have no doubt that I will be back here soon planning an incredible celebration for one of my couples and I can see why it has become a firm favourite amongst engaged couples who are looking for a venue steeped in history, unique experiences and an exclusive setting.
