As a wedding planner who specialises in luxury weddings and marquee celebrations, I’ve had the pleasure of working at some of the most beautiful spaces across the UK. But finding the right luxury wedding venue isn’t just about choosing something pretty, it’s about understanding how that space fits with your priorities, your guests, and the kind of experience you want to create.
Here are a few of my favourite UK wedding venues (most of which I’ve worked at personally) so you can get inspired if you’re still searching for the perfect place to say ‘I Do’.
Iscoyd Park is a Georgian country house right on the Welsh border. It has such a welcoming energy due to its family run venue team and friendly staff.
Whenever I plan weddings here, I always find the team to be incredibly collaborative. It feels luxurious without being intimidating which is perfect for weekend weddings where you want a blend of celebration and comfort.
Wedding planning tips: The flow of Iscoyd is ideal for use in multiple areas. I often recommend couples use the Drawing Room or garden for a more intimate ceremony before moving guests through to the marquee for dinner and dancing. It’s one of those venues that feels like an elevated country home you don’t want to leave.

If you’re after old school luxury with a real wow factor, Hawkstone Hall is it. I’ve planned large scale weddings here and the grandeur of the space never disappoints. That said, it still feels personal, especially when we use styling and floral arrangements to create more intimate spaces.
Wedding planning tips: The chapel is one of the most beautiful ceremony spots in the UK. For couples who want the formality without the stiffness, I often tweak the layout to feel more guest friendly and relaxed. It’s small changes like this that make a big impact in a grand, luxury wedding venue like this.

Sefton Palm House is a Victorian glasshouse in the middle of the city and it always feels like stepping into another world. I’ve worked here multiple times and love how transformative the space is.
Wedding planner tips: Because it’s a glass structure, it can get quite warm in the summer. I always advise couples to plan slightly later ceremonies or to offer refreshing drinks or fans as guests arrive as it’s a small touch but it keeps everyone comfortable. You also don’t need to over-style this luxury wedding venue as the botanical greenery already here lends itself as statement decor without having to have a huge floral budget. Add great lighting for atmosphere and your wedding will be one to remember.

Kin House is a Georgian manor with a modern edge. It’s effortlessly cool, but still feels very warm and intimate. The spaces flow really well and it’s designed with weddings in mind, from the Garden House for getting ready to Kilvert Hall for the reception.
Wedding planning tips: One of the things couples love most about Kin House is the exclusivity. You’ve got beautiful spaces for getting ready, celebrating, and even hosting a post-wedding brunch by the outdoor pool all in one place.
I often help couples use the Garden House as a calm and private space before the ceremony, and then bring in personalised touches to transform the Kilvert Hall into a space that reflects their wedding style. If you’re wanting a modern yet classic luxury wedding venue that still feels down to earth and personal, this one might be made for you.
Euridge Manor is an exclusive-use dry hire venue, and one of the most romantic spaces you’ll visit in the UK that you’ll think you’ve been transported to Italy or France! Think lakeside ceremonies, pergolas covered in seasonal flowers, and winding Cotswold stone staircases.
Wedding planning tips: Euridge Manor is stunning, but it can also be a little logistically challenging if you’re not an experienced planner. Every supplier, marquee, caterer, lighting supplier has to be carefully scheduled and know of the restrictions in place here. Planning events here requires a detailed production plan so nothing is left to chance. For couples who want full creative freedom and aren’t afraid of adding colour, outdoor receptions or adding a marquee set up, this luxury wedding venue is for you.
Hedsor House is the epitome of classic luxury. From the driveway to the ballroom, everything is beautifully maintained and designed for impact. It’s one of those venues that works just as well for a 100 person sit down dinner as it does for a 200 person marquee wedding. This Grade II Georgian country manor house just makes you want to have a garden party!
Wedding planning tips: I always encourage couples to make their wedding a full weekend event if possible to truly take advantage of the spaces here. Host a welcome dinner the night before, your wedding on the Saturday, and a relaxed brunch on Sunday. It extends the celebration and gives you more time to enjoy the house, the grounds, and really get to spend quality time with your guests. As a wedding planner, it’s my job to tie the whole weekend together so everything flows smoothly without you needing to coordinate a thing.
Have you been inspired?
Each luxury wedding venue in this list brings something different to the table and that’s where having the right wedding planner makes all the difference. My role isn’t just to manage logistics, it’s to help you find a venue that makes you say ‘wow’, and design spaces that feel like a true reflection of you as a couple. To turn big, beautiful venues into something that feels entirely yours.
